Description: “The Nostalgic Cuff” is a unique creation story. Being in lock down, Alex has faced many challenges going back and forth to her studio. When she was finally able to seize the opportunity to be there, she locked herself in her studio and discovered endless creations she made when first starting her silversmithing craft. This is when she decided that anything new to be released were to be recycled silver from previous creations she no longer needed or had forgotten about. The Nostalgic Cuff is made of previous silver projects she no longer felt relevant.
The Nostalgic Cuff. Is initially inspired by making the Ear Hook I. And the Dipped In Silver Cuff II. She thought “everything for the past year has really brought me back to my child hood, and ear cuffs were a staple of mine growing up. What would I wear today if I were back to myself growing up in the 90s?” So she revamped what she wore 20 years ago, and made the Nostalgic Cuff.
What Alex loves most about this piece is how many ways the wearer can style this piece. It is also light enough that the wearer can easily adjust the ear hook to fit however they may please by gently squeezing the opening.
